FORMER MONROE COUNTY ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY
From December 2009 to March 2011 Leticia served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Bureau. There she handled a caseload of approximately 75 violent and non-violent felony offenses, successfully obtained the first Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child conviction in Monroe County, and prosecuted four felony trials, obtaining a top count conviction in each.
From March 2009 to December 2009 Leticia served as a Felony Assistance District Attorney in the DWI Bureau of the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. There she prosecuted a caseload of approximately 170 felony DWI/DWAI cases, arranged and negotiated waivers of indictment in Superior Court, and handled three felony DWI trials all resulting in a conviction.
From July 2007 to March of 2009 Leticia served as an Assistant District Attorney in the local courts. She handled a caseload in excess of a thousand cases, prosecuting traffic infractions, violations, and misdemeanors. She handled hundreds of pre-trial hearings and bench trials and prosecuted two B felony drug possession cases obtaining convictions of the entire indictment in both.
A Native of Rochester and a mother of two Leticia currently resides in the City with her family.
